Self-empowerment is a hot topic right now, as many people are seeking ways to become more confident and feel a greater sense of purpose in their daily life.
Here are 3 tips to becoming self-empowered that you can start implementing right away:
1. Train your mind to stay neutralize resistance: If you think about it, the number one factor that perpetuates any pain, mediocrity, or inner conflict is resisting or judging what is taking place in the current moment. Self-empowerment is a direct result of training your mind to let go of the compulsive need to wish things were different than they are right now. By relaxing the mind into reality as it is, we open ourselves up to increasingly liberating and powerful energies within ourselves.
2. Give yourself permission to go into the discomfort of your life: So much of the self-help movement is focused around feeling good and visualizing what you want. In my experience, a major block to actualizing what we want is habitually avoiding what we don’t want. Many people use the law of attraction as a way to turn their backs on the dimensions of life that cause pain. For instance, if you hate paying the bills and therefore do anything possible to avoid them, visualizing being financially free will be useless to you… until you can go into the discomfort of paying bills and reclaim your power from whatever fear or block is there for you. Our daily life offers us constant opportunity to go into discomfort; the more you can lean into it, the more you will reclaim your power. It’s as simple as that.
3. Recognize the open nature of who you are and reality itself: Many of the ancient spiritual traditions agree that life is ultimately an illusion, that there is no solid reality to the conventional world. We are conditioned to be terrified of the vast and empty nature of who we are, yet this is exactly where we can discover the most profound form of liberation. Be willing to suspend who you think you are and what life is about. The more you can hang out in the mystery, the more you will naturally experience a state of power and flow to your life.
