‘Attractor Factor’ is a phrase that was coined by Joe Vitale in his book The Attractor Factor: 5 Easy Steps for Creating Wealth (or anything else) from the Inside Out. This phrase has always resonated with me, probably due to the fact that I am perhaps ultra-sensitive to how much importance it has in determining the quality of my life and business.
I honestly can’t remember how Joe Vitale defines attractor factor in his book, but here is how I define it:
The underlying energetic vibrational harmony that results from being aligned with your life’s purpose… and creates a magnetic pull of attraction toward you from the outside world.
Most of us in the Western world believe we are living in the solid world of form. We are skeptical of the possibility that an invisible world of energy, one without form or substance, could actually serve as the real basis of what takes place in our physical world… even though quantum physics has shown this to be true AND most spiritual traditions have supported this idea for thousands of years.
Have you ever noticed how some entrepreneurs can literally generate buzz and interest around them almost effortlessly? This is either due to a natural, God-given ability to exude charisma and to radiate confidence ( I would say this is the exception), or a daily practice of consciously raising your energetic vibration and cultivating the qualities that directly lead to effortless success.
It is interesting to think of intensifying your attractor factor as something that that you can actually practice, much like you would a musical instrument. What is even more interesting is that the most successful enterpreneurs that I have known and respected all say that this practice has been the core foundation of their success— even more so than their knowledge and skill in marketing or business development.
So, how can you practice raising your energetic vibration to become a more magnetic person… one that sets a standard as a leader and innovator who literally attracts ideal clients as if it’s as easy as breathing? Here are the 3 practices that I personally use and recommend.
1. Meditation — Spend at least 10 minutes every single day dropping your identity with your thinking mind. Meditation is the practice of letting go of the contracted, small self we hold onto as a habit and expanding our awareness into the space and energy that surrounds and underlies all things in the physical world. You can check out my Mindfulness CD for Beginners if you are new to meditation and need some guidance.
2. Intention– Consciously choose what you want to take place in your mind on a regular basis. In case you haven’t noticed, our default, habitual mode of thinking is typically centered around stress, doubt, low self-esteem, insecurity, and anxiety. We have to purposefully decide who we really are and plant the images and thoughts we want to take place within our minds. I call this purposeful thinking instead of positive thinking. It is synonymous with setting intentions to be who you really are and to not buy into the litany of excuses that are pumped into you as to why you need to stay stuck in a low vibration.
3. Repetition– This is the practice. Meditate every day and let go of the habitual thinking mind. Set intentions to expand your energy and consciously choose who you really are and want to be. Relax your awareness in the reality that nothing is solid and because of this, you can literally create what you want. Your problems are just perceptions in your mind. Your limitations are just conditioned beliefs that you are 100% capable of eradicating in this very moment.
You will see real world changes when you value this practice more than anything else in your life and you make it a top priority. This world is loaded with distractions from all angles, so it takes hyper vigilance to keep your focus on continually developing this quality of heightened consciousness.
Because of the traumas, stressors, and limited beliefs that we have been exposed to, most modern people walk around pretty much disconnected from their attractor factor. The good news is that you can literally choose to embark on this wonderful practice of raising your energy and confidence in this very moment.
I always say there are 2 main factors that contribute to your success in business: Mindset and marketing. You have to have both. This teaching here will get your mindset oriented toward abundance. There are plenty of resources on this blog for boosting your marketing skills as well. Focus on and practice both of these factors and you are destined for true success.

Excellent article! Thank you for the reminder. I think this is where the “work smarter” rather than “harder” stems from. I find the silence of meditation is necessary to quiet the mind and start fresh.
