I want to share with you a quick Facebook marketing strategy that I have been using that has worked very well for me.
A Cool Facebook Marketing Tip to Connect Better With Your List
This is one of the most effective ways to turn a cold lead into a warm one. Facebook is such a powerful place to quickly build trust and connection. Here is a powerful strategy to do exactly this:
**When you get a new lead opting into your blog or website, you can copy and paste your lead’s email address into the Facebook search box and see if they have a Facebook account.**
Then I would just send them a message along these lines:
hi [firstname],
I noticed you were on my website/blog a couple days ago and wanted to connect here on Facebook. Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help and I look forward to getting to know you better.
regards,
Kevin
You can probably see why this is a cool thing to do. Your website or blog opt in leads will generally be pretty cold until they see the value of what you are offering and they trust you. When you ‘friend’ them on Facebook, the know/like/trust process is greatly enhanced.
You can do this once per week as part of your marketing system. I have found that about 25% of my email opt ins have a Facebook account under that same email. I have made some great connections with this strategy.
One of the main benefits of social media is that people can connect with you in so many different ways. Once someone is on your email list, then a friend on Facebook, then a follower on Twitter, and then a subscriber on Youtube, do you think this will enhance the probability of them wanting to do business with you?
These time-consuming ‘copy and paste’ marketing strategies are super important, yet very easy to overlook or avoid because they are tedious. I recommend that you hire a virtual assistant to do things like this for you.
Remember that in marketing, success is found in the details. Good luck, and let me know what kind of results you are getting with this strategy.
keep moving forward,
Kevin
