I want to share some key concepts with you that will really help you if:
1. You are in the start up phase of growing your business and you want to use internet marketing as your main vehicle for growth.
2. You have been in business for some time and are struggling to generate enough clients/customers and income.
If you take the time to implement what I am about to share with you, it will save you literally years of continued frustration in growing your business.
I recently heard an interesting statistic for network marketers, which I think applies to virtually all solo entrepreneurs: You need to generate at least 25 leads per day for your business in order to make $100,000 a year. Now, this is a main reason why so many business owners struggle–they just don’t have the right skills and knowledge to generate this quantity of leads on a daily basis.
If you are just networking in your warm market, it is no wonder why this may feel limiting. You have to do a TON of networking to maintain this kind of exposure. Your warm market will dry out within a few weeks of starting up, which means you have to rely on networking events and leads groups to maintain growth.
You may have already hit a wall with this approach, which is why you are turning to the internet for some solutions. And yes, this is a very good start! Online marketing is by far the most powerful way to generate this quantity of leads on a daily basis. Once again though, you have to have the right training and skills to be able to pull this off effectively.
Here is a quick overview of the steps you MUST take in order to do this:
1. Create a powerful sales funnel for your business–This starts with offering something for free from your website that people can get without risk. This begins the relationship-building process. If you are in network marketing, this is the sales funnel I use and one of the very best I have found on the internet.
2. Build your list-- Your ability to automate your lead generation is based on the quality and quantity of your list. This really is priority number one, as the power of building a large business or organization through the internet comes down to how effectively and quickly you can build your list of interested prospects.
3. Create a traffic generation system– You must have a way to drive traffic to your websites in a very consistent and methodical manner. Every online entrepreneur creates their own system of traffic generation. The key here is to implement your system on a very consistent basis. Basically you will need to do a combination of free and paid strategies– article marketing, blogging, social media, forum marketing, online video marketing, and PPC through Google. I personally do ALL OF THESE — as do other top marketers I know.
You want to start with mastering one or two of these strategies, and then transition into new ones. Dig one hole deeply, then move on. This will prevent you from getting overwhelmed and burned out.
Even if you are not seeing results right away, stay consistent. Right one article every day. Devote 30 minutes to social media marketing every day. Stay on top of your PPC campaigns and keep building your knowledge.
Now, up front this may not seem like an automated process, as you are having to devote time and energy every day to make it work. But what happens is that, over time, you will notice that your lead flow is growing, even if you are not directly doing anything to make that happen. This can only happen when your initial efforts are very consistent.
So, get out there and implement this 3 step process and keep tweaking it until you nail it and you have the system that works for you. This is the way to make your online marketing highly successful and lucrative.
