Most people get into network marketing for the promise and allure of creating massive amount of residual income that will allow them to live on a beach and never have to worry about money again.  The reality, however, is that less than 3% of the network marketers out there are creating substantial residual income from their MLM business.

Here are a few of the main factors that will get you in that 3% of elite marketers who truly have created freedom through MLM:

1. Find a company with excellent retention– Don’t believe it when people tell you your company doesn’t matter.  The company you are associated with is a MAJOR FACTOR in your ability to create residual income streams.  The industry average is 15%, meaning that 85% of the people you sponsor will quit.  You can see how this makes it difficult to build residual income; it’s like a bucket with many holes in it that you’re trying to fill with water.
2. Find a company that has little or no competition— It is very hard to build residual income with a company that is competing against hundreds of others, offering the same products and trying to market to the same audience.  Find a company that is doing something different, that is offering something unique, relevant, and in high demand based on current trends.
3. Get the right marketing training– Most people leave MLM and never build residual income because they were never given the right training on how to market their business.  They chase their friends and family and then wonder why it’s so difficult to build their downline.  In order to build substantial residual income, you’ll need to generate at least 20 leads per day.  How can you do this in your warm market?  Well, unless you know thousands of people, you can’t.  This is why it’s crucial to understand how to use the internet to grow your business.
4. Position yourself as an expert– Simply put, you want people to chase you instead of you doing the chasing.  You literally want to ‘attract’ perfect prospects to you through branding yourself as a leader in the network marketing field.  How do you do this?  You’ll want to use a system like the MLM Lead System Pro.  This is, by far, the best way to attract qualified people and brand yourself on the internet.

This is really the combination of factors that will lead to building residual income:  Attraction marketing + Lead Generation + Prospecting + Good Company Retention = Residual Income
