When you consider the following facts about the home-based business industry, what I am about to say will likely shock you:

• 97% of those who try network marketing will give up within a few months
• most network marketers actually lose money in their business
• the competition in network marketing is cut-throat; you are up against some of the most savvy and skilled marketers alive

Okay, with that said, does it make any sense that I would say there has never been a better time than NOW to build a home-based business.

Seriously?  How could I possibly say that?  Well, there is an incredible opportunity right now to put your business opportunity in front of millions of targeted prospects.. and it is due to the astonishing power of the internet.

Simply put, you absolutely, positively MUST learn online marketing if you want to grow a successful network marketing organization.  Off line marketing can still work– if you are a natural sales person (about 3% of us are).  But even then, there is no way you can get your business in front of such a huge audience as you could on the internet.

The majority of network marketing companies are still in the dark ages when it comes to online marketing.  Company replicated websites are usually pretty awful sales platforms.  Most upline leaders are still recommending that you make a list of friends and family and tell them about your business.  That is the extent of the marketing training you receive in most companies.

If you are going to create true financial and time freedom, you will need to be trained very, very well.  You will need to create a marketing blueprint that you follow each and every day.  I will give you an overview of the marketing blueprint that I follow and that I train my team on.  This is a clear path to boundless success through online marketing.  Take good notes!

1.  Position yourself as a leader in the network marketing industry by setting up a wordpress blog (if you need help with this, click here and fill out the form on this page and we can discuss the blog design package I offer at Authentic Online Marketing.)

2.  Write one piece of original, valuable, unique, and relevant content for your blog every day for 60 days.

3.  Distribute your blog post through at least 20 social bookmarking sites.

4.  Repurpose your blog post into at least 4 article directories.

5.  Use ping.fm to let all your social media followers on twitter, facebook, etc. know about your blog post

6.  Email your list about your blog post.

7.  Comment on at least 3 other blogs every day.

8.  Rinse and repeat the next day.

This is the marketing blueprint that I religiously follow.  It is an absolutely free way to generate tremendous exposure for your blog, company, and opportunity.  Most of my team members within my company are following my lead on this, and doing very well.

If you have some money to invest, you’ll definitely want to incorporate Google Adwords PPC marketing into the mix.  But you certainly can start with this free content distribution strategy.

If you do this consistently, you will blow away the results of anyone you know doing off line marketing to build their MLM business.
