Search engine optimization, or SEO, is becoming one of the most important factors involved in creating a successful network marketing business.  To be honest, about 70% of my marketing process involves getting my content on the first pages of Google.  This is what all of the most effective and skilled online network marketers are doing–and I highly recommend that you do the same.

When you have a scientific process for getting your content massive exposure through Google and Yahoo, amazing things happen to you.  You realize you’ll never have to worry about money again.  You are instantly positioned as a leader and expert for whatever niche or industry you’re involved in.  You have one of the most powerful forms of social proof.

Here are 3 tips that you want to start implementing right NOW if you’re serious about leveraging the internet to build a lucrative home business:

1.  Immerse yourself in learning SEO– Don’t take action until you get the right foundation in place.  This is one of the most important skill sets you can ever develop to become a fully empowered, financially free entrepreneur who lives life on your own terms.  Invest the time, energy, and money necessary to master this skill.  I recommend that you get the SEO Networker Mastermind Home Study Course.  These are the guys who do Mike Dillard’s SEO, so they know their stuff.

2.  Set up a Wordpress Blog--  This is by far the most powerful asset you have to generate traffic at will and dominate Google.  With Wordpress, you have the ability to control your keywords through a variety of plugins and features, such as the All in One SEO plugin.  You can control the permalink and tags for each post.  You can target specific keywords with laser precision and power.

The blogging revolution has just begun in the MLM industry.  You have an amazing opportunity right now to get yourself some serious exposure just by learning how SEO works on a wordpress blog.  (The course I mention above will really help with this).

In order to do this, I recommend that you create one new piece of original content every day (like a 300-600 word blog post).  Be consistent about this and a few months from now, you’ll be an MLM guru.

3.  Get as many backlinks as possible to your unique content– Every time you post to your blog, go through a series of steps to get backlinks to that blog post.  This would include social bookmarking your post, making a video of it, and distributing it to article directories.

A backlink is just a live clickable link that your reader can click on to go to your blog.  The more you have, the more Google likes your blog.  By far the most powerful marketing tool you can use to get backlinks and spread your content all over the internet is the Automatic Article Submitter.
